The guests are given a traditional welcome at the Safdarjung Railway Station at 4 PM where they proceed with the check-in formalities. At 6.30 PM the vibrantly decorated Palace on Wheels begins its eight-day odyssey cutting across the scenic landscapes and rich heritage of India with its first stop at Jaipur. A sumptuous dinner is served on board.
Tour starts in the evening with a ceremonial welcome aboard the Palace on Wheels at Safdarjung, New Delhi. You will be treated like a Maharaja and Maharani (king and queen). The capital city of modern India, Delhi is known for its rich and exotic history. Feel free to explore your new palace, and acquaint yourself with its various facilities. Relax with a drink at the bar. Dinner will be served on board.
1600 Hours - Welcome on arrival at Safdarjung Railway Station. Red Carpet, Garlands, Shehnai, Soft Drink &
Welcome drink in Bar.
1700 Hours - Guests are issued boarding pass and escorted
to their rooms.
1800 Hours - Departure for Jaipur
2000 Hours - Dinner onboard Palace on Wheels
